Fundraiser and adventure seeker Andrew Rogerson was setting off on a ride to raise money for blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan, by cycling 10,000 miles from Changshu, (near Shanghai) to Liverpool.
Charitable Andrew, is funding the entire trip himself – sleeping on the sides of roads, in woods or at bus stops to keep costs down – and aims to cycle over 100km a day, allowing himself just one day off a week.
Never ones to pass up on a charitable project, especially one of this scale, we helped Andrew develop his digital presence by developing a website which has become Andrew Rogerson’s live diary, keeping everyone up to date on his journey.
As well as live tracking for current location and overall distance, there is dedicated space for video diaries, photography and diary entries, which will be constantly updated creating an ever changing homepage showing the highs and the lows of the entire journey allowing the public to be with him every step of the way.
After just 6 days of his 5 month journey Andrew Rogerson exceeded his target to raise £3,000 for the charity.
