Earlier this year JAMcreative worked with Survivors Manchester, a volunteer-run organisation that helps male victims of sexual abuse and rape through counselling, encouragement and therapy.
Together we created a campaign, which would help ‘Break the Silence’. The aim of the campaign was to spread the stories of the Survivors, to let others know that they are not alone and to encourage others to step forward and Break the Silence. It was quickly established that the creative would need to dispel the myths surrounding male rape and show it for what it really is; a crime that ruins people’s lives from all walks of life and at all ages.
JAMcreative worked closely with the Survivors team as well as victims to gain an understanding of what the underlying message of the campaign should be.
Through various discussions we developed a style and tone that fitted in with what the Survivors felt was an appropriate way of representing the emotion of their cause.
JAMcreative worked with Survivors Manchester to create a brand, campaign, digital presence and marketing collateral.
We worked with Survivors Manchester every step of the way to create an identity that suited their purpose through creating a campaign that dismissed the stigma attached to the cause.
“The results are bigger and better than we could have imagined. From the outset JAMcreative has really listened to what our message is and has conveyed it in some powerful and striking materials.” Duncan Craig, CEO Survivors Manchester.
